Holland America Line has never been a cruise line content to just sail from point A to point B. They have always been about the experience, the story, and the moments that make a voyage truly unforgettable. As America heads into its 250th anniversary celebration, Holland America has assembled some of the most thoughtful and creative partnerships the line has seen in years.

The Pan Am Legendary Voyage That Has Me Dreaming of 2027

Let me start with an exciting sailing announced: In 2027, Holland America Line will set sail on a 28-day Pan Am 100th Anniversary Legendary Voyage, inspired by the historic Pan Am Clipper routes that defined a golden age of global travel.

The ship will visit 18 ports along the legendary Pan Am Great Circle Route, a pioneering path that spanned the entire Caribbean and set the standard for modern travel as we know it. For anyone who has ever been drawn to the romance and elegance of that era, the glamour of early aviation, and the sense of adventure that came with crossing the world in style, this voyage is a dream come true. Twenty-eight days, 18 ports, and the spirit of one of the most iconic chapters in travel history woven into every moment of the sailing.

I will be keeping an eye on this one and sharing more exciting itineraries by Holland America as they are announced, so make sure you are following along right here on CruisinJules or on my YouTube channel. In the meantime, you can explore this voyage and many other incredible sailings directly through Holland America's official website.

Celebrate July 4th from the Water in Boston

If you want to mark America's 250th birthday in the most unforgettable way possible, Holland America has created the perfect sailing for exactly that. The America's 250th Celebration Stars and Stripes cruise departs Boston, Massachusetts on July 4th, 2026, and the itinerary is everything you would hope for.

The sailing features a late-night departure from Boston so guests can watch the historic skyline fireworks from the water, which is one of those experiences that gives you chills just thinking about it. There is a deck party with classic American picnic foods, a live music tribute to the Soundtrack of America, and port calls to cities that played meaningful roles in American history, including Norfolk, Virginia and an overnight stay in New York. It is hard to imagine a more fitting way to celebrate a once-in-a-generation milestone.

A Pendleton Blanket Worth Bringing Home

Holland America's America's 250th partnerships also include a beautiful collaboration with Pendleton Woolen Mills, the beloved Pacific Northwest lifestyle brand with a heritage stretching back generations. Together they created a custom-designed, numbered, Alaska-themed throw blanket inspired by the Great Land exclusively for the cruise line. The limited-edition throw will be available for purchase on ships sailing Alaska in 2026.

Pendleton has been weaving Pacific Northwest heritage into its blankets for generations, and this one has the whole Alaska trip woven right into it. If you are planning an Alaska sailing this summer, this is one to seek out while you are on board.

Jefferson's Bourbon Is Aging at Sea

Rounding out the America's 250th partnerships is a collaboration between Holland America and Jefferson's Bourbon, in which Jefferson's Ocean Bourbon is being aged at sea across all 11 ships in the fleet. Beginning in March 2026, one barrel was loaded aboard each ship, with all 11 carrying their own barrel by the end of April. Each barrel sails for a minimum of six months, with the finished bottles, approximately 150 to 300 per barrel, delivered back to the ships in 2027 for guests to enjoy.

The program grew from the idea that constant motion, salt air and shifting temperatures at sea produce characteristics that cannot be replicated on land. This is the first time Jefferson's has partnered with a cruise line for the series, and it fits neatly within Holland America's broader Spirit of Independence theme for the 250th celebration.

More to Come

Holland America has promised that additional limited-edition co-branded offerings and future brand collaborations will continue to be unveiled in the lead-up to July 4th, 2026. There is clearly a lot more excitement ahead, and I will be right here covering every announcement as it drops.

Between the Pan Am Legendary Voyage, the July 4th Boston sailing, the Pendleton blankets and more, they are giving travelers so many reasons to pay attention right now.

If any of these sailings caught your eye, you can book this voyage or explore many other incredible options directly through Holland America's official website.
